Dakota Buddy Fairchild
"Buddy"
D/O/B 05-26-05

Buddy came to us from Ohio.  He was the first male we bought, and we had no idea what to look for when we bought him.....all that we knew was that we already had gray/white and black/white, so we must have red/white!  He is our biggest husky and, in fact, is larger than the breed standard set by the AKC.  He is a very, very shy and quiet boy, except that he does love the ladies in the kennel.  He has been bounced around a bit, and we are his 3rd owners.  He loves children, prefers women to men, and hates cats.....imagine that!  He is also the swimmer in our bunch and absolutely loves water.

                Big Boo Bear

    Favorite Movie:  Eight Below

I found Boo Bear in Maryland.  Having raised huskies for a couple of years and realizing that although Buddy was a beautiful dog, he did not quite fit the breed standard set by the AKC.  Wanting to produce quality puppies, the search was on for a new stud dog....and we were very lucky and fortunate to find Boo Bear.  He came to live with us when he was 10 months old.  He has the most glorious, soft red coat and is a great dog in every way.  He knows many tricks....sit, stay, down, up, high-five, shake, kiss-kiss, etc.  He has decided to own me......he is very much my dog and is quite jealous of my husband LOL!  He originally came from Louisiana, and I have become friends with his Louisiana family.  He has champion bloodlines (Innisfree), and could be a show dog if only I had time.  He will always have a special place in my heart.

    Cottrell's Frozen Tundra of Lambeau
                       "Tundra"

                  D/O/B   06/28/08

I am very proud of Tundra!  Tundra's parents are Boo Bear and Mystic, and this is the type of puppy we were hoping to produce when we decided to get Boo Bear.  He has the most beautiful mask, and he has inherited both of his parents' super soft coat.  He also is a dog with show potential, but again if I only had time!  We had not planned on keeping Tundra, but when he was just days old, he managed to wiggle out of the dog box, and we believe that when Mystic tried to pick him up to put him back in the box, she accidentally bit his upper lip.  So off we go to the emergency vet clinic with a puppy with a very big chunk out of his upper lip--poor thing.  By the time we were on our way home with the poor little guy, we were doomed....we had already decided to keep him LOL!  His lip still has a small chunk missing, but it has healed nicely, and he is a beautiful dog that we are very proud of.

Cottrell's North Star Zoey

"Zoey"
D/O/B 9-10-06

Zoey is the first dog we raised, and kept, for ourselves.  Her Mother is Jazzy, and we did not own her father.  The picture to the right is not only beautiful, but extremely popular.  We have a lot of problems with people copying this photo and then putting it on items for sale on Ebay!  I always say she is the most popular husky on Ebay.  Please enjoy this photo but do not use it without our permission.  Zoey is our talker, loves to howl and woo woo, and try to carry on a conversation with you.  She is very loving and thinks she's a lap dog.  Her best friend is Stormy.

Cottrell's Jazzy Jasmine

"Jazzy"
D/O/B  01-22-04

Jazzy was my birthday present to myself the year I turned 40.  My daughters were grown and had moved out of the house, and I only had my son left at home.  I think I was suffering from the empty nest syndrome.  She is very sweet and loving, but can be very stubborn, and definitely believes that she is the alpha of our pack.  She is also the most adventurous of our dogs.

Northern Manor Artic Snowstorm

                      "Stormy"
                D/O/B 10-04-06

Stormy came to us from a breeder in Pennsylvania.  Her Mother is our Mystic.  Stormy was the 4th husky we acquired....we already had black, red, and gray, so the logical thing was to want a white one!  She is the smallest of our dogs, and is a very shy girl.  Her best friend is Zoey.

   Northern Manor Mystical Dream

             "Mystic"
       D/O/B 01-07-05

Mystic came to us from a breeder in Pennsylvania.  She is the calmest of our huskies and just has the most sweet, gentle spirit.  She is not a bit hyper and loves her crate.  She will be retired from breeding in 2011 and will be moving indoors with us full time.

Tundra's Abby Rose

          Abby
        04/27/010

Abby is Tundra and Zoey's puppy from their 2010 litter.  We loved Abby's look immediately....she looked a lot like her Dad.  We decided right away that we would keep her for ourselves....we had not had our own puppy in 2 years.  Abby is the only one of our dogs to have brown eyes, but we still think she is beautiful.  She is a typical husky puppy....very energetic and playful, and loves to run.
